Eleven members of the Social Inclusion Group went to Acton Fire Station for an educational visit.  The Firefighters covered basic safety rules, how to act in the case of a fire, and how to report a fire or accident.  The Customers took an active part and engaged well with the firefighters, asking relevant questions.

 

The group had an opportunity to watch a fire drill where the firefighters went through a training scenario which included sliding down the pole and putting on fire protective uniforms. 

They also had the opportunity to get into a fire engine and try on fire helmets.

 

A huge thank you to all the firefighters who showed incredible kindness and patience, making the visit really memorable for them.
