Job Title: Support worker for the children and young people’s Saturday group

Salary:  £3,177.20 per annum

Hours: 6.5 hours per week on a Saturday, 9:45- 4:15

Location: Enterprise Lodge, Stockdove Way, Greenford, Middlesex, UB6 8TJ

We have an exciting opportunity to work on a brand new Saturday Club for children and young people with special educational needs and/ or disabilities that is part of a rapidly growing and developing Children’s and Young People’s Short Break Service.


We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to work on the Saturday Group supporting the young people that attend to engage, stay safe and have fun


You will need to provide top quality, positive and creative support and care to the children and young people who attend.


Responsibilities will include:


  • To provide care and support to children/young people who have complex needs and disabilities during Ealing Mencap’s Saturday club.
  • To support the Group Leader and Deputy Group Leader in the delivery of activities both in the centre and outside the centre.
  • To ensure the safety and security of the young people attending.


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Experience of working with young people with special educational needs and/ or disabilities.
  • An understanding of safeguarding.
  • Experience and knowledge of personal/intimate care support, or a commitment to learn.
